It is the classic story of a jew who leaves his home, and sets off, as does almost every jew at some point in his life, in search of his luck.
He tries his hand at a variety of professions, and finally ends up in the matchmaking business where he meets with success for some time, but in the end finds himself in exactly the same position as when he left the village !!
