This heartrending drama is the story of new immigrants who arrive in the United States from Eastern Europe. They immediately begin to throw off the shackles of the traditional Jewish way of life, abandoning their old values and customs in favor of the sparkle and glitter of secular life.
As a result of this, a large generation gap is created in the family. A tragic tale, which has it's humorous moments as well, it is an enjoyable experience from start to finish !!
